Hello and welcome!
My name is Iryna, and I was born and raised in Eastern Europe — in beautiful Ukraine.
My grandmother, Vera, was a self-taught seamstress who could turn a piece of fabric into magic. She made costumes and clothing for local celebrations, and as a little girl, I loved to sit beside her, watching the sparkle of thread in her hands. That’s where my love for creating began.
In school, starting at the age of six, we were taught embroidery and sewing as part of our education. By the time I graduated, I could sew simple garments, knit, crochet, embroider, and even weave macramé. I’m endlessly grateful to my teacher, Vera, who passed on not only the skills, but also the quiet joy of handmade work.
Although my professional background is in journalism, in 2013 I fell in love with beaded embroidery — and it became my true calling. Stitch by stitch, bead by bead, I discovered how storytelling can live not only in words, but also in texture, color, and light.
Every piece I create carries a bit of nostalgia — a memory of my grandmother’s hands, the rhythm of needle and thread, and the belief that beauty can be both fragile and timeless.

She had great communication skills, gave me check in progress photos, and made a few tweaks to make sure things came out perfectly.
