Supporting Learning. Nurturing Potential
Our Story
Mum's Method wasn't created as a business. It was created because I couldn't find the right learning resources for my own daughter.
After months of trying different approaches to homeschooling, online programs, textbooks, workbooks, printable resources, and plenty of conversations together, I realised something important. My daughter didn't need more information. She needed learning that was presented in a way that made sense to her.
She made the most progress when her work was:
- Short and manageable
- Broken into clear, easy-to-follow steps
- Written with larger, uncluttered instructions
- Supported with guided activities instead of guesswork
- Focused on topics that genuinely interested her
- Designed so she could work independently with confidence
I searched for resources that followed this approach, but I couldn't find what we needed.
So I started creating my own.
Every worksheet is carefully designed around practical teaching strategies that help children understand before they're expected to work independently. You'll find pre-taught vocabulary, information broken into manageable chunks, visual supports, structured activities, and opportunities to recall and apply new learning.
The goal isn't simply to complete another worksheet. It is to help children build confidence, experience success, and become more independent learners.
Who may benefit from these worksheets?
✔ Homeschool families
✔ Neurodivergent learners
✔ Children with ADHD or autism
✔ Learners with dyslexia or dyscalculia
✔ Children who struggle with focus or sustained attention
✔ Learners who become overwhelmed by busy worksheets
✔ Students who learn best with clear, step-by-step guidance
✔ Independent learners who enjoy working at their own pace
At the heart of Mum's Method is one simple belief:
No one knows a child better than their own parent. Every child learns differently, and there is no single method that works for everyone. What works for one child may not work for another.
Mum's Method is my family's method. The approach that helped my daughter thrive. And I hope these resources help make learning feel achievable, enjoyable, and less overwhelming for your family too.
