Animals, Art and Magic
J'ai grandi dans le Colorado et j'ai toujours aimé peindre et dessiner.
J'ai étudié l'art et l'horticulture à l'Université d'État du Colorado, et je suis diplômé dans ces deux disciplines. Une fois diplômé, j'ai fait mes valises et déménagé sur la côte ouest, où j'ai passé de nombreuses années à travailler aux côtés d'autres artistes.
J'expose des peintures originales, je crée des commandes, j'écris et j'illustre des livres. Mon premier album jeunesse auto-édité, intitulé Moon Bunny, est sorti en mars 2015. Quand je ne peins pas, n'écris pas et ne crée pas de livres, j'aime écrire et enregistrer ma propre musique. Vous trouverez de nombreux personnages jouant d'un instrument dans mes tableaux. J'aime randonner en montagne, nager en rivière et voyager dès que l'occasion se présente.

Kelly vit au cœur des forêts tropicales du Grand Nord-Ouest. Elle a voyagé à travers l'Europe et vécu simplement dans les bois, donnant à son art une esthétique digne d'un conte de fées surnaturel. Ses études en symbolisme et en divination confèrent une dimension mystique aux histoires de ses tableaux. Elle illustre les animaux, sa communauté et son environnement dans ses peintures, avec ces thèmes comme toile de fond.
I grew up in Colorado and have always enjoyed painting and drawing.
I studied art and horticulture at Colorado State University, and have degrees in both subjects. Once I graduated, I packed my things and moved to the west coast where I have spent many years working beside other artists.
I exhibit original paintings, create commissions, and write and illustrate books. My first self published children's picture book titled Moon Bunny was released in March 2015. When I am not painting, writing and bookmaking, I love to write and record my own music, and you'll find many characters playing instruments in my paintings. I love to hike mountain trails and swim in rivers, traveling when opportunity arises.
