Forgotten Objects Rediscovered.
Coming from a very large family, I grew up with what I thought at the time was antiquated but still usable. TheLostRooms started in 2009 as a way to have fun ferreting out those same pieces…the unusual, the beautiful, the odd object we no longer use today that can be re-purposed into something new and interesting.

The name TheLostRooms came from my ancestral home that dates back to the late 1800s. It is packed with left overs from generations of family members who stayed in the house at one time or another leaving items behind to be saved, stored or discarded. Of course, nothing was ever thrown away. You can get lost (and lose) things in that old home.

Have fun exploring the "rooms" of my shop and see what I've rediscovered. Maybe you'll find something you can use, remake or just can't live without.
