Tiny Ballerinas Are Performing Their Hearts Out On This 4" x 6" Vintage Pewter Frame Made By HK Perfect
The frame holds a 4" x 6" image, but the image you see is 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" due to the frame's overlap on the glass. The overall size of the frame is 4 3/4" x 7". You could replace the glass with a mirror and have a very unique piece.
The frame shows a very detailed stage with curtains hanging from a rod, stars, moons and a rose garland on the bottom. Cute as can be ballerinas, in a variety of poses, in their tutus and ballet slippers dance on the stage. Very cute and whimsical.
The frame, glass and easel back are in excellent condition. There is the tiniest fleabite on one corner of the glass, that you will never see and doesn't compromise the integrity of the piece. The maker's mark HK PERFECT is stamped on the bottom edge of the frame
The frame came out of a dance studio that closed when the owner retired. Each week a different student's picture was put in the frame and displayed on the front desk. The students never knew whose picture would be in it each week and were always excited to come to class and find out.
