Are your designs available for commercial use?

Yes, some. I do allow small commercial use on digital papers and clip art. These designs must be incorporated into your own unique product, printed or digital, and cannot be sold as individual, editable or extractable elements. Attribution is not required, but appreciated. No other designs are licensed for commercial use. If you have questions about your intended use, please reach out.

What is the turnaround for custom designs?

Once you make your purchase and send me all necessary photos, information and requests, you will receive a proof within 1-2 business days. If you request changes, you will receive subsequent proofs within one business day of your request. Once you approve your design, you will receive your final file(s) via Etsy download within one business day as well. Please note that this turnaround time *does not* guarantee work on weekends or US federal holidays. Message me if you have concerns about time constraints. Some simpler customized designs, such as banners with custom messages, do not require proofing. In this case, you will receive your final file(s) within 1-2 business days.

Do you sell announcement templates that I can edit myself?

All of my invitation and announcement designs are proprietary and are always customized by me. I do not sell these designs as editable templates for repeated or commercial use.

PRINTING TIPS | At-Home Printing

If you plan to print your designs at home on a personal printer, here are a few tips to help you out: ☛ Photo announcements usually look best printed onto a matte photo paper, as the slight sheen from the paper gives it a crisper, more professional look. ☛ Banners, party decor, digital papers and most other designs look best printed onto white card stock. This will also add to the durability of the printed product, which I highly recommend. ☛ Tracing paper and flash card designs can be printed onto regular printing paper. ☛ Set your printer margins to 'zero' or 'borderless' for true-to-size printing on any design that is formatted as an 8.5x11 sheet.

PRINTING TIPS | Using a Print Shop

If you plan on having your designs printed at a photo lab or print shop, here are a few suggestions to help you out: ☛ Mpix — www.mpix.com — For photo and card printing. Moderately priced, very nice quality. ☛ Office Depot — www.officedepot.com — For banners, party decor and other printing needs. Well priced, has a variety of quality papers to choose from and offers additional services, such as cutting, folding and hole punching. Offers both in-store pick up and delivery services. (You can often find online coupons for their printing services, too!)

I can't open or print my files! What do I do?

Because many of my design sets contain multiple files, they must be compressed into a ZIP file in order to be downloaded from Etsy. The most common reason for being unable to open a ZIP file is because mobile devices do not support compressed files. In order to extract the files from within a ZIP, you will need to use a computer (not a smartphone or tablet) and do one of the following: ☛ Mac OS: Simply double-click on the ZIP file to extract the files within. ☛ Windows: Right-click on the ZIP file, select 'Extract All' and follow the instructions. Once you've extracted your JPGs and/or PDFs, they can then be shared with mobile devices for printing, if desired.

Can I add my school's logo to a custom invitation?

Unfortunately, no. Due to copyright restrictions, I cannot add logos or emblems to any of my designs that are the property of a business, school or other entity, including but not limited to the logos or mascots of high schools, colleges, universities or professional sports teams. I can, however, change colors of the existing design in order to coordinate with your particular school or team. I am, however, currently licensed to sell branded designs of the United States Navy. I can add USN emblems to any design you wish. Thank you for understanding and supporting ethical art!

Do I need a copyright release to print?

No, you should not need a formal release form to have your design printed at a print shop. However, if the printer requests a copyright release, you may simply show them your purchase receipt to prove that you have permission to print.

Where is my order? I haven't received it.

Every single product that I sell is digital and you will only ever receive it via instant download or custom download on Etsy. You will *never* receive any products by mail. Please read each listing description carefully so that you can be sure that what you are purchasing is exactly what you were hoping for!

Generally, no. Because all of my products are digital, they cannot be returned or exchanged. However, I will accept refund requests under the following conditions: ☛ Instant Downloads: If you have not downloaded your files, you may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase.
