Versatile Triple Drum Carder Electric with Brush
Our high quality triple-drum carder comes fully assembled and is handcrafted of solid hardwoods, quality parts, and made in the USA.
This is a fine and affordable choice for blending all wool exotics, and fibers. It makes a batt size of 9X22 inches. A linseed oil bath provides a lovely durable finish. Motor drive comes with speed control; forward and reverse. Brush makes a thick, full batt.
The overall size is 15 by 18 inches including pull-out wool tray, and weighs approximately 16 lbs. (33 lbs. packed). The swift and licker are 9 inches wide and run on maintenance-free, sealed ball bearings. All pulleys and axles have been designed for ease of turning and smooth operation with a 4 to 1 drive ratio.
It is currently offered with standard 90 tpi cloth (3” dia.) , 120 tpi on the lickers and 120 tpi cloth (8” dia,) on the swift. More pics and information available at http://www.southerncomfortproducts.com/

I absolutely love my new electric carder! It works very well on the fine fleece from our merino sheep and I am able to card so much faster than when using my hand crank machine. I used to not like carding as part of the spinning process but this carder makes it fun and enjoyable. There was a bit of trouble with shipping but Bubba got it resolved.
Wonderful carder. I have Shetland sheep with a fine wool. This has definitely stepped up my production. I love using this machine! I am getting lots of carding done without killing my hands and wrists. I now have piles of batting to sell or make future projects with.
Very nice quality and packaged so that it was protected when shipped.
I've only had this machine for 12 hours and have processed more than I do in a week. It fits the fiber well. Double licker is making for smooth bats on the first pass and perfection on the second. There was some confusion on shipping but that was not the sellers fault. Can't wait to save up and get the bigger one!!
