What is your return policy

RETURNS ACCEPTED-Plant stands, holders, pots & moss products. Pls inform us within 7 days of receipt of the item with any issues. BUYER PAYS the return shipping cost. The refund is the order amount MINUS the shipping cost to you. Please ensure item is returned in its original condition. If item returns to us broken or damaged, no refund or partial refund will be issued. NO RETURNS-Returns are not accepted for air plants, any customized orders and made-to-order t-shirts. Quality is very important to us. If you have any concerns, pls message us.

What is preserved moss and how do I care for it?

Preserved moss is live moss that has been harvested and put through a preservation process to retain its softness and natural beauty. It does not require any maintenance, no watering is needed. For indoor use only. Avoid direct sunlight, heat vents and water.

What water should I use for watering my air plants

Do not use distilled or filtered water. If you have access to rain water or creek water, air plants will love you for that. It has plenty of the minerals and nutrients that they need. Aquarium water works great too. Most people use tap water, which is totally fine for air plants. If you put the water out 24 hours before soaking the plants, that will allow chlorine to evaporate from the water especially if your water is highly chlorinated. Chlorine can turn the tips of the leaves brown.

Why do some air plants look like they have this white layer on them

The white fuzzy stuff is actually called trichomes. Trichome is derived from a Greek word which means 'to cover with hair'. Trichomes are small hairs on the leaves of the air plants which help them absorb water, airborne minerals, and help them regulate their temperature. They are important since air plants do not grow in soil and have traditional root systems. Trichomes can absorb moisture directly from the air, even without the plant having to get damped by rain, mist, or morning dew. The trichomes actually serve a purpose. Some air plants have more trichomes than others. So it's not unusual at all.

Can I cancel an order after I have placed it

You can cancel an order within 1 hour of placing it.

Which shipping service do you use & what is the production time

Packages weighing less than 16 ounces would go via USPS First Class. Packages over 1 lb will go via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground service. Please note that production time does not include the shipping time to get the product to you. Refer to individual product listings for the production time required. We try our best to get things produced and shipped out asap. If you need to expedite your shipping, please message us.

Do you ship outside the US

We do ship outside the US for most of our items except air plants. If you are interested in an item (besides air plants) that we don't currently ship overseas, let us know and we can give you a shipping quote. Please ensure that the shipping address is correct. Any wrong address given will be the buyer's responsibility. Please factor in a longer time for shipping since this is an overseas shipment. Buyers are responsible for any taxes, duties or other customs fees that may apply in their own country. And we have no control over any possible delays due to customs. All prices on our site are in US dollars.

What happens if item is returned to seller due to an address error

Providing an accurate shipping address is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, buyer would have to pay for the shipping charge to have it delivered again.

My pot / planter has arrived broken. Do you issue a refund or replacement?

Packages can be mishandled and the content can be broken during transit. We hope this does not happen, but if it does we want to make it right for you. We will issue a replacement or a refund for the broken item. Please send us a picture of the broken pot plus the packing materials around it. We do report this to the carrier involved in the shipping so please do not dispose of them until the case is over. Thank you!

The caput-medusae is an air plant that is not only quirky in its looks but also in its name. It's sometimes referred to as medusa's head or octopus plant. Native to Central America and Mexico, the plant has wide, sturdy leaves with some purple hues which are soft and velvety to the touch. One of our customers' favorites. 💚

Available in large or medium sizes*. Get a single caput-medusae or a set of 3 (save more) that you can have fun displaying or give away as unique plant gifts. These unusual-looking air plants will make an interesting addition to your plant decor.

As xeric air plants, they can handle more sunlight and less water than other air plants. Since these are bigger and bulbous in nature, soaking is not recommended. Mist them a couple of times a week. Hook it on something and let it hang or lean it against something so it dries upside down. Since the caput-medusae is bulbous, be extra careful after watering not to let water collect at the base (the upside-down drying helps), as this can cause the plant to rot. If it’s blooming, do not wet the flowers. Mist the non-flower portion. Return them to their display when dry.

As with all air plants, adjust your watering frequency and care based on the environment you're in.
