Thanks you for visiting The Map Shop. My name is David and I am an artist and cartographer. I live in the Chicago. I'm a map collector and am particularly interested in vintage city maps.

The maps you'll find in my shop are all vintage, ranging from the mid-1600's to maps produced during the second world war. Since most of the maps are vintage, they show their age. In most cases the paper has faded and it is not uncommon to find stains and marks on the maps.

I've spent countless hours restoring the maps in my shop. Maps make great decorating statements and can be produced in sizes ranging up to 24" x 36". Custom sizes are available upon request.

About the paper I use. All maps are printed on bright white matte paper using high quality inks.

Please contact me if you have and question or if you're looking for a special map. I add new maps to my collection often and may have the one you're looking for.
