-Risparmiando tempo e denaro: uno dei motivi principali per cui amiamo i vestiti Grow with Me qui intorno è perché passo così tanto tempo a creare vestiti per i miei figli, non voglio che lo superino subito (specialmente quando amo davvero il tessuto!). Ciò significa anche che passeranno attraverso meno vestiti, risparmiando denaro!
-Vendere abbigliamento Grow With Me: vendevo anche abbigliamento per bambini fatto a mano e trovavo difficile giustificare l'addebito di prezzi equi per il mio lavoro, ma una volta che ho iniziato ad espandermi alle taglie Grow With Me, è stato più facile per me giustificare il prezzo ai miei clienti perché potevano vedere il valore più facilmente.

Come hai iniziato?
Il motivo per cui ho iniziato a creare modelli Grow with Me era perché passavo tutto questo tempo a creare un vestito per mio figlio, e lui poteva indossarlo solo poche volte prima di superarlo. Avevo anche avviato un piccolo negozio che vendeva articoli per bambini fatti a mano e non potevo giustificare i prezzi che avrei dovuto addebitare per rendere la vendita di abbigliamento un'opzione fattibile. Alla fine ho trovato un modello Grow With Me di un altro designer (Maxaloones) e mi è piaciuta molto l'idea. Da lì ho deciso di disegnare un top da abbinare a loro (che si è evoluto in The Bunnyhug) e alcuni pantaloni harem (che si sono evoluti in The Bunny Bottoms) per aggiungere un po 'di varietà al guardaroba di mio figlio. Un giorno ho pensato "forse anche ad altre persone piacerebbe questo!", così ho digitalizzato il mio modello Bunnyhug e l'ho messo su Etsy. Da allora ho sviluppato molti altri modelli Grow with Me perché adoro così tanto l'idea Grow With Me e sembra che anche altre persone lo facciano!
Come funzionano i modelli di Grow with me?
Sulla maggior parte degli indumenti ci sono polsini che si arrotolano e si srotolano man mano che il bambino cresce. Alcuni dei nostri modelli utilizzano anche lacci o cinture pieghevoli. L'abbigliamento realizzato con i nostri modelli si adatta a circa 3 o 4 volte più a lungo rispetto all'abbigliamento di dimensioni tradizionali.
Why Grow with Me Patterns?
I love Grow with Me clothing for so many reasons! It saves you time, money, and can even help save the environment.
-Saving You Time and Money: One of the biggest reasons we love Grow with Me clothing around here is because I spend so much time making clothing for my kids, I don’t want them to outgrow it right away (especially when I really love the fabric!). This also means they will go through less clothing, saving you money!
-Selling Grow With Me Clothing: I also used to sell handmade baby clothing and I found it hard to justify charging fair prices for my work, but once I started expanding to Grow With Me sizes, it was easier for me to justify the price to my customers because they could see the value easier.
-Environmentally Sustainable: Another huge reason I love Grow with Me clothing is the sustainability factor. Kids outgrow clothing so fast! It’s not only hard on the wallet, it’s also hard on the environment. According the a post on The Guardian, if we can extend our clothing lifespan by 9 months, we can reduce our carbon footprint by 20-30%!

-Fits the In Between Sizes: We also love that Grow With Me clothing fits even during those odd in between size where their legs are too long for their current size, but their waist is too small for the next size up!
-Diaper Bag Essential: Grow with Me clothing also makes great diaper bag clothing! If you are anything like me and you forget to change out the clothing in your diaper bag regular, Grow with Me clothing can really save you! I keep some tester version of my patterns in the car so there is always an outfit that will fit my kids if we have a mess emergency.
How did you get started?
The reason I first started making Grow with Me patterns was because I would spend all this time making an outfit for my son, and he could only wear it a few times before he outgrew it. I also had started a little shop selling handmade baby items and couldn’t justify the prices I would need to charge to make selling clothing a feasible option. I eventually found a Grow With Me pattern by a different designer (Maxaloones) and just loved the idea. From there I decided to draft a top to pair with them (which evolved into The Bunnyhug) and some harem pants (which evolved into The Bunny Bottoms) to add a bit of variety to my son’s wardrobe. One day I thought “maybe other people would like this too!”, so I digitized my Bunnyhug pattern and put it on Etsy. Since then I have developed many more Grow with Me patterns because I just love the Grow With Me idea so much and it seems like other people do too!
How do Grow with me patterns work?
On most of the garments there are cuffs that you roll up and unroll as the child grows. Some of our patterns utilize drawstrings or foldable waistbands as well. The clothing made from our patterns fits about 3 to 4 times longer than traditionally sized clothing.
