Celebrating colors of life
Barva in Ukrainian means color. And life, as you know, has many colors.
Some are warm and orange — cozy moments with loved ones. Some are fresh and green — filled with joy and light. And then there’s purple — our signature shade — the color of creativity, inspiration, and the spark of new ideas. All of them are tied to light, and for me, candles are how we hold that light close.
Each candle is created and hand-poured by me, Olena — an immigrant searching for warmth in a foreign country. This little business grew from my heart, with the hope of bringing memorable moments and cozy days to those who need them most.
Candles have always been part of my life. From going to church with my family, to birthdays, to long nights of studying — a candle was always there to make moments brighter. As a granddaughter of a beekeeper, I grew up cherishing the scent of beeswax. That’s why Barva offers a special limited edition of beeswax candles, made with wax from local, ethical Dutch beekeepers.
Every candle I make is hand-poured in small batches, using only the best ingredients: natural soy wax sourced from local businesses, premium fragrance oils and ethically sourced beeswax.
These candles are meant to become part of your everyday rituals — to gift to someone you love, or to bring comfort and color to your own life.
