Hi!
Sono Carl, un illustratore freelance che vive e lavora a Norwich, nel Regno Unito.
Da quando ho lasciato la scuola d'arte negli anni '90, le circostanze mi hanno portato ad allontanarmi dall'arte e a intraprendere una carriera nell'insegnamento, e in seguito nel web design. Tuttavia, da quando sono diventato padre di famiglia e ho trascorso molto tempo a disegnare e leggere libri illustrati con i miei due figli, ho trovato l'ispirazione per prendere in mano la matita (di Apple) e iniziare a vivere di illustrazione.
Ho aperto il mio negozio Etsy un paio di anni fa e ho iniziato a vendere stampe e biglietti d'auguri che presentano il mio stile eccentrico di illustrazioni in stile cartoon e che affrontano argomenti difficili come biscotti, cuccioli, robot e dinosauri ;)
Accetto anche commissioni per ritratti di coppie, famiglie, animali domestici e qualsiasi altro tipo (entro limiti ragionevoli). Non esitate a contattarmi o a ordinare tramite il mio annuncio Etsy se siete interessati.
Il mio obiettivo finale è illustrare libri per bambini, ma per ora sono felice di fare ciò che mi piace e di condividere un po' di amore e risate nel mio piccolo modo "divertente".

I'm Carl, a freelance illustrator living and working in Norwich, UK.
Since leaving Art School in the 90's, circumstances lead me away from art and towards a career in teaching, and later Web Design. However, since becoming a family man, and spending a lot of time drawing and reading picture books with my two children, I became inspired to pick up the (apple) pencil and start making a living from my illustration.
I opened my Etsy shop a couple of years back, and began to sell prints and greeting cards that feature my quirky style of cartoon illustration and which tackle hard hitting topics such as biscuits, puppies, robots and dinosaurs ;)
I also accept portrait commissions - couples, families, pets and anything else (within reason). Feel free to get in touch or order via my Etsy listing if you're interested.
My ultimate goal is to illustrate children's books, but for now I'm happy to be doing what I enjoy and to be sharing a bit of love and laughter in my "funny" little way.
