We are Franco and Ashley Martinez, who found love in Hawaii.

Franco is from Venezuela, South America and Ashley is from Nebraska, USA and yes, we met on Tinder. We immediately knew that we wanted to do something better for the world and that we could lead each other to a higher vision.

Franco's passion is surfing, and his dream had always been to surf Pipeline. The more time he spent in the water, the fuller his shorts pockets became with plastic bags, packaging, and plastic parts. It was frustrating for him to see how much waste we created and how the consumption habits of the human race effected paradise.

Ashley loves to cook and bake, and creates vegan concoctions on a tight budget from leftovers. He felt guilt about cooking healthy meals for their bodies and yet creating waste to throw away. It just doesn't make sense.

The irony of doing what is good for our soul, but polluting the planet simply does not align.

'AINA life was born to refocus us on the land that feeds us. Our solution of reusable bags for agricultural and bulk products and bamboo toothbrushes helps remove plastic waste from the things we do in our daily lives. If we all move away from plastic, we can help eliminate the waste that future generations will inherit.

Toothbrushes are the only item that all humans use! A bamboo toothbrush is the simplest way we can start reducing plastic without compromising anything.

The roles we play in the life of 'AINA are very mixed and you can't do one thing without the other. Franco is a visionary without limits, connecting people from all over the world and always manifesting the next step. Ashley is the executor, designer and communicator in all operations. We hate numbers and lead with heart and intuition.

We promise to never stop dreaming, stay curious, be inclusive and encourage those around us. We want to use 'AINA life' to recognize and highlight those who come into our lives with the same will for growth and change.
