Is it not history yet!
Do you frown on wasting well made classic fashions that never seem to go out of style?
Do you have a collection of project materials sitting around waiting for the project that never happens? Do you shake your head out how cheaply things are made these days? So do I!
My husband's mother was a seamstress that had a business making teddybears. Age took it's toll, life changed and she stopped making the teddy bears. She did not get rid of her stash of fabrics and now I have them. They are now needing a new home.
As a kid ,my grandmother, who worked at F. Schumacher & Co in New York City, made an impression on me for fine classic clothes, fabrics and furnishings. To satisfy my desire for well made and designed clothes, I worked part time at a high end men's and women's clothing retailer, Mark Shale. Although now out of business, they did extremely well and expanded their stores around the country in the 1980s and 1990s. With my very generous discount, I acquired several pieces (and kept) that I love to this day. Life happens, your lifestyle changes and so does your body. I held on to these pieces hoping that I would someday be able to fit into them again. I give up! Now, they are for you to acquire.
The clothing pieces will be posted soon.
If you find other things on my store, they are items that I have found irresistible at some time because they were well made, unique, classic and think that they deserve a better home than I can give them now.
I hope you will enjoy these items as well as I did.
