Funtional Elegance!
Llevo muchos años diseñando accesorios para clientes bajo sus marcas. Creé DesignWorks Studio para tener un lugar donde poder jugar con la creatividad. Tengo mis propias pasiones que alimentan e inspiran mis diseños: navegación, senderismo, pesca, tecnología, viajes y estilo de vida.
Me encanta navegar y pasar el rato junto al mar, así que de ahí viene mi inspiración para los productos náuticos. Después de numerosos bocetos, siempre hago las primeras muestras para poder usarlas durante un tiempo y mejorar el diseño. Este proceso puede llevar un tiempo y, una vez que me siento bien con los diseños, utilizo fuentes para coser cuero y fundir metal. Soy terrible cosiendo. Todo mi mecanizado se completa en casa y se hará de esa manera en el futuro previsible.
Espero que en mi trabajo puedas apreciar los diseños como funcionales y elegantes. Ya sea que estés buscando un estuche de cuero, un llavero clásico con detalles de cuero o un llavero nuevo y diferente, mis productos se manejan con un enfoque artesanal. Mi objetivo es diseñar productos que reflejen los tiempos con el objetivo aspiracional de que sean atemporales y clásicos en su forma y funcionalidad.

I have been designing accessory products for clients under their brands for many years. I created DesignWorks Studio to have a place that I can play with creativity. I have my own passions that fuel and inspire my designs: sailing, hiking, fishing, technology, travel and lifestyle.
I love to sail and hang out by the ocean so that is where my inspiration is taken for the nautical products. After numerous sketching I always make the first samples so that I can use for a while and improve the design. This process may take awhile and once I feel good about the designs I use sources for leather sewing and metal casting. I am terrible at sewing. All of my machining is completed in house and will be done that way for the foreseeable future.
I hope that in my work you can appreciate the designs as both functional and elegant! Whether you're looking for a leather case, a classic leather accent key-chain, or a new and different keyring, my products are handled with an artisan approach. It is my goal to design products that reflect the times with the aspirational goal to become timeless and classic in their form and functionality.
