My story
I'm a live visual artist and artist filmmaker. I work directly with 16mm film to create abstract animations that I digitally edit for audiovisual performances and experimental short films.
I have a BA and MA in Fine Art and previously worked on site-specific video art installations before moving into the live environment. My work sits somewhere between the visual music and handmade cinema of the early 20th century and the digital multimedia and VJ culture of today. Recently I've performed at The Royal Festival Hall, The Coronet Theatre and The London Short Film Festival and had my short films screened at numerous festivals.
My shop sells stills from my film work that I have digitised and then printed onto either high quality fine art paper or onto stretched canvas. A range of sizes are available and I can arrange to have the prints framed at an additional cost (only to cover the cost of the materials).
