I found my passion for embroidery during my studies. Now, I’m here to share it.
Welcome to Floral Compendium — a small, one-person embroidery atelier dedicated to creating timeless linen accessories with a refined, floral touch.
My journey began as a little kid in primary school, unexpectedly, with a simple school project: an embroidery assignment that later became the first piece hanging in my mother’s home. Much later in life, while working on my PhD in philosophy, I rediscovered embroidery through an old cross-stitch set. What started as a quiet, meditative break soon turned into a passion — and eventually into this shop.
Today, every item in my shop is designed, stitched, crafted, and finished entirely by me. I work with high-quality stonewashed linen from Lithuania, a fabric chosen for its natural elegance, softness, and long-standing cultural tradition in the region. Its texture pairs beautifully with the minimalist floral motifs I embroider, inspired by classical techniques such as Blackwork.
In my atelier, I handle every step of the process:
• designing the motifs
• cutting, preparing, and finishing the linen
• stabilizing and embroidering each piece
• sewing and refining the final accessory
• carefully packaging each order myself
This means every item is truly unique and made with intention — not mass-produced, but thoughtfully crafted from start to finish.
Floral Compendium is a space where traditional embroidery meets modern simplicity. I hope my pieces bring a sense of quiet elegance, craftsmanship, and a touch of nature into your everyday life.
Thank you for supporting my small business and for allowing my work to become part of your wardrobe or your home.
