Mi tienda es una mezcla de mis muchos intereses diferentes: mi larga historia de videojuegos, mi dedicación al estudio y la práctica budista, y mi amor por encontrar la belleza en lo mundano.

Comencé haciendo corbatas de bolo a partir de piezas de computadora recicladas y chucherías, una moda inspirada en mi abuelo del Medio Oeste, que creo que se puede actualizar para el siglo 21 y cruzar géneros. Cuando comencé a arreglar y revender sistemas de videojuegos como otro negocio secundario, encontré más suciedad para el molino con los desechos de ese negocio, por lo que nacieron los gemelos, aretes y collares de NES. Como practicante budista descubrí que había tantas malas que no se ajustaban a los requisitos simples que muchas personas querían. Pensé que podría hacerlo mejor y me siento feliz de haber creado un producto que es a la vez hermoso y funcional.

My shop is a mishmash of my many different interests - my long history of video gaming, my dedication to Buddhist study and practice, and my love of finding beauty in the mundane.

I began by making bolo ties from recycled computer parts and knickknacks, a fashion inspired by my Midwestern grandfather, that I think can be updated for the 21st century and cross genders. When I started fixing and reselling video game systems as another side business I found more grist for the mill with the waste from that business - so the NES cufflinks, earrings, and necklaces were born. As a Buddhist practitioner I found there were so many malas that didn't fit the simple requirements many people wanted. I thought I could do better and I feel happy I've created a product that is both beautiful and functional.
