Welcome to Layla Beck Design Co! Inspiration for my shop name came from my three children; Ayla, Landon, and Beckett. Who along with my husband will always be my best cheerleaders and biggest motivators.
I found my love for digital art 25 years ago as a high school freshman while watching my photo journalism teacher jokingly photoshop my head 4 times onto a photo of me and my four sisters. He felt like we looked so much alike no one would notice anyway! During college I worked for the campus photography department. I spent most of my time in the darkroom and on field shoots. But my favorite was when I got behind the computer. Beginning with photo restoration and color correction I quickly become the go-to person for “eye opening” or “head swapping”. ;)
As the digital world advanced I began to see the limitless possibilities of digital design. Enhancing photos and turning them into works of art became a hobby and a passion. I love the process of starting with one image and turning it into another, adding realism to things that can’t be, and creating beauty from everyday life using nothing except a bunch of pixels on a screen.
