This Privacy Policy describes how and when Solutions By Tech Pty Ltd
("we"), trading as MainBranchTees, collects, uses, and
shares information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or
otherwise use our services through Etsy.com or its related sites and
services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties
that we do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party
services you access through Etsy. Please refer to the Etsy Privacy
Policy to learn about its privacy practices.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information
(which you authorised Etsy to provide to us), including:
- Your name
- Email address
- Postal/shipping address
- Payment information (processed by Etsy — we do not store this)
- Details of the product you have ordered
- Order history and transaction details
You may also choose to provide us with additional information if you
contact us directly through Etsy Messages — for example, custom
design requests, sizing questions, or feedback.
WHY WE NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WE USE IT
We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your
information, including:
- As needed to provide our services — for example, to fulfil your
order, settle disputes, provide customer support, or arrange
replacement of damaged or defective items.
- When you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may
revoke at any time.
- If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order,
including retention of records as required by Australian tax law.
- As necessary for our legitimate interests, where those interests
are not overridden by your rights — for example, improving our
services, preventing fraud, and complying with our obligations
under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We share your personal information for limited reasons and in limited
circumstances, as follows:
- Etsy. We share information with Etsy as necessary to provide our
services and comply with our obligations under the Etsy Seller
Policy and Terms of Use.
- Printify (production partner). We use Printify, a global print-on-
demand platform, to manufacture and dispatch your order. Your name,
shipping address, email, and order details are shared with Printify
and their print providers solely for the purpose of producing and
shipping your item.
- Shipping carriers. Your name and shipping address are shared with
the carrier responsible for delivering your order.
- Compliance with laws. We may share your information if we believe
in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to respond to legal
process or government requests, enforce our agreements, prevent or
investigate fraud, or protect the rights, property, or safety of
our customers or others.
- Business transfers. If we sell or merge our business, we may
disclose your information as part of that transaction, to the
extent permitted by law.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to
provide our services and as described in this Privacy Policy. We may
also retain information to comply with our legal and regulatory
obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
In line with Australian tax law and our warranty/dispute resolution
obligations, we generally retain order and customer information for
seven (7) years from the date of the transaction.
TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE EU/UK
We are based in Australia, and our production partner Printify
operates from the United States with print providers located
worldwide. As a result, your personal information may be transferred
to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions outside the European
Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, including Australia and the
United States.
For transfers of personal information from EEA or UK buyers, we rely
on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the legal mechanism for the
transfer, in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where
Printify or its providers participate in the EU-US Data Privacy
Framework, that framework also applies.
YOUR RIGHTS
If you reside in the EU, UK, or other territories with similar data
protection laws, you have the following rights regarding your
personal information:
- Access. You may request a copy of the personal information we
hold about you.
- Correction. You may request that we correct inaccurate or
incomplete information.
- Deletion. You may request that we delete your personal information,
subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restriction. You may request that we restrict how we process your
information.
- Objection. You may object to processing based on legitimate
interests, and you may withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
- Complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local
data protection authority.
