One day, I realized the prodigious amount of magazines and magazines I owned.
From there, I started to hijack them... then to give them a second wind.
This is how the frantic search for this raw material was born in flea markets and garage sales throughout the France and the United States.
This process of "china" and encounter with the unexpected, the unknown, is mixed with the process of creating collage.
Depending on the find, the state of mind and the disposition to be created in the moment, the result will never be what was originally expected.
This is what differentiates the craftsman from the artist: the craftsman knows where he is going.
The artist lets the creation take care of it for him.
My work evolves around 3 axes of approach that revolve around a capital pillar: THE WOMAN
The Woman, her body, her beauty, her sensuality, her place in society...
All these issues and problems drawn from visuals from the 1940s to our contemporaneity are at the heart of a research book orbiting around the EVE.
Je développe un univers poétique, onirique, féminin, délicat et hétéroclite. Mon travail est à la croisée de l’image et de la matière : il mêle photo, peinture, perles, fils de broderie, fragments de magazines d’art et de photo. J’aime croiser les genres, les couleurs, les époques pour provoquer des rencontres improbables et créer des œuvres nouvelles, inattendues.
Mon art explore la féminité, l’identité et la mise en valeur de la figure féminine.
Je cherche à faire du beau qui a du sens : un beau qui questionne, qui interpelle, qui révèle.
