MerlinMN è stato aperto per necessità. Da poco mi ero trasferito da una casa molto grande ad una casa molto piccola con grande bisogno di rimodellamento. La mancanza di spazio era spaventosa, il noleggio di qualsiasi spazio di archiviazione fuori sede, a lungo termine costoso, le vendite in cantiere non erano produttive o redditizie, quindi cosa fare? E sono stato accusato che stavo per diventare un episodio di "Hoarders" - oh yikes!
Etsy è arrivato come una manna dal cielo. Mentre guardavo il ''Today Show'' e altri programmi TV, ho sentito "Etsy ha questo", "puoi trovarlo in un negozio su Etsy" che, Etsy, Etsy, Etsy. Sono entrato, ho dato un'occhiata in giro e ho trovato la mia casa vintage, merlinMN.
Mi ispiro a Etsy ogni giorno - sono così tante cose belle fatte per la vendita qui e così tanto VINTAGE!
Ora che la ristrutturazione della casa è "per lo più" fatta, ho più tempo. Il mio 'lavoro' è diventato il design e la creazione di borse Plarn alla moda e una tote o due, nel mio nuovo negozio, chiamato 'ecouture handmades', accessori moda riciclati / riciclati con nuovi disegni e materiali, così come lana calda e meravigliosa e uncinetto acrilico. MerlinMN was opened out of necessity. I had recently moved from a very large house to a very small house ih great need of re-modeling. The lack of space was appalling, the rental of any off-site, long-term storage space expensive, yard sales were not productive or profitable, so what to do? And I was being accused that I was about to become an episode on "Hoarders" - oh yikes!
Etsy came as a godsend. While watching the ''Today Show'' and other TV shows, I heard "Etsy has this", "you can find this at a shop on on Etsy" that, Etsy, Etsy, Etsy. I came in, took a good look around, and found my vintage home, merlinMN.
I get inspiration from Etsy everyday - they are so many beautiful things being made for sale here and so much VINTAGE!
Now that the house remodel is 'mostly' done, I have more time. My 'work' has become the design and creation of fashionable Plarn handbags and a tote or two, at my new shop, called 'ecouture handmades', recycled / upcycled fashion accessories with new designs and materials, as well as warm and wonderful wool and acrylic crochetwear.
