Selling small and minature tools to the professional and hobbiest.
I’m a life-long hobbyist and professional photographer. With mechanically and technically inclined interests, I gravitated towards camera repair while serving in the Navy as a photographer. I completed a national camera repair course while serving and after 6 years in the military I attended college for an AS degree in electronics and computer servicing. Always striving to better my skills, I picked up basic computer programming and am self-taught in different computer languages. As an entrepreneur I launched a software program being used for camera repair tracking.
I’ve used these technical skills to build a name for myself in the Camera Repair Industry and have been running Micro-Tools since the 80’s. Along with our counterpart in Ochtrup Germany this business has grown and changed over the years to reach more people in need of tools for repair or hobbies.
We started out as a camera repair shop, then online store for camera repair tools. As our online store grew, we found that many customers were purchasing our products to be used in other industries and hobbies. We have now grown to offer a vast selection of tools for all kinds of professionals and hobbyists.
Ten years after opening up shop, we are hitting the road once again displaying and selling tools at beading and gem shows across the USA. We have over 25,000 different items in stock in our Vacaville, California 21,000 square foot facility.
