Come sono arrivato qui? Bene, tutto è iniziato quando ho lavorato nel settore della stampa e ho aperto la mia azienda di stampa. Volendo espandere la mia attività e avventurarmi in un nuovo territorio, ho iniziato a offrire ricami. Ho fatto camicie e cappelli aziendali, ecc. All'epoca non sapevo che mi sarei innamorato dell'arte e che sarebbe diventata una passione.
Le cose sono cambiate quando ho avuto figli. Volevo ricamare panni di rutto, borse, vestiti e tutto ciò che potevo inserire nel mio cerchio. Stavo finalmente facendo qualcosa di creativo e imparando quanto potesse essere divertente il ricamo. Ero eccitato e felice. Mi sono reso conto che volevo qualcosa di più.... qualcosa di diverso dal ricamo aziendale a cui ero abituato.
Man mano che mi interessavo sempre di più al ricamo, ho deciso di vendere la parte di stampa della mia attività per concentrarmi sul ricamo e ho anche aggiunto creazioni in vinile. Ho trasferito la mia attività all'Opry Mills Mall di Nashville, TN dal Grand Ole Opry. Oh sì, una grande mossa!!! È stato molto dispendioso in termini di tempo, un sacco di duro lavoro, ma un sacco di divertimento ed estremamente gratificante. Quindi puoi immaginare quanto fossi estremamente devastato quando il centro commerciale si è allagato nel 2010 e non ha riaperto per 2 anni. A quel punto, mi sono reso conto che c'erano così tante più persone che facevano ricami e vinili rispetto a quando ho iniziato. Volevo differenziare la mia attività da altre attività di ricamo. Quindi, durante quei 2 anni, ho pregato Dio di guidare la mia attività in una nuova direzione. Ho lavorato per riorganizzare la mia attività e concentrarmi sul fare ciò che amavo di più del ricamo. La vera felicità nel tuo lavoro è trovare quella pace che Dio ti dà quando segui ciò che Egli ha in mente.

How did I get here? Well, it all started when I worked in the printing industry and opened my own printing company. Wanting to expand my business and venture out into new territory, I started offering embroidery. I did company shirts and hats, etc. Little did I know at the time, that I would fall in love with the art and it would become a passion.
Things changed when I had children. I wanted to embroider burp cloths, bags, clothes, and anything I could fit in my hoop. I was finally doing something creative and learning how much fun embroidery could really be. I was excited and happy. I realized I had been wanting something more.... something different from the business embroidery I was used to.
As I became more and more interested in embroidery, I decided to sell the printing portion of my business to focus on the embroidery and I also added on vinyl creations. I moved my business into Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, TN by the Grand Ole Opry. Oh yes, a big move!!! It was very time consuming, lots of hard work, but loads of fun and extremely rewarding. So you can imagine how extremely devastated I was when the mall flooded in 2010 and didn't reopen for 2 years. By this time, I realized there were so many more people doing embroidery and vinyl than when I first began. I wanted to differentiate my business from other embroidery businesses. So during those 2 years, I prayed for God to lead my business in a new direction. I worked at reorganizing my business and focus on doing what I loved most about embroidery. True happiness in your work is finding that peace God gives you when you follow what He has in mind.
