PRINTERROR è stata fondata da me, Greg Cerna, ad Austin, in Texas, nel 2015. Mi occupo di stampa 3D dal 2013 (tredici anni!) e negli ultimi cinque anni mi sono mantenuto con questa attività a tempo pieno. Le stampanti hanno fatto molta strada da quando ho iniziato a stampare, e sono ossessionato dalla qualità di stampa: sono molto orgoglioso di quanto siano uniformi e precise le linee di stampa.
Tutti questi prodotti sono progettati da me, ma li stampo e li spedisco con l'aiuto del mio socio, Asher Ford, che gestisce Object Lover. Costruiamo e manuteniamo le stampanti in autonomia e dedichiamo tutto il nostro tempo a cercare di realizzare i migliori prodotti possibili.
Utilizziamo una bioplastica riciclabile a base di mais chiamata PLA e stampanti 3D open-source Prusa per produrre tutti i nostri prodotti. Cerchiamo sempre di trovare il maggior numero possibile di modi per ridurre i nostri rifiuti e anche tutti i nostri imballaggi sono riciclabili al 100%.
PRINTERROR was started by me, Greg Cerna, in Austin, TX in 2015. I’ve been 3D printing since 2013 (thirteen years!) and have been supporting myself with this full-time for the past five years. Printers have come along way since I started printing, and I am obsessive about print quality - I take great pride in how smooth and consistent my layer lines are.
All these products are by designed by myself, but I print and ship them with the help of my business partner, Asher Ford, who runs Object Lover. We build and maintain the printers ourselves and we spend all our time trying to make the best products we can.
We use a recyclable, corn-based bioplastic called PLA, and open-source Prusa 3D printers to produce all our products. We’re always trying to find as many ways as possible to reduce our waste, and all our packages are 100% recyclable as well.
