Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to finally launch this page and share my love for homemade hermit crab decor! Salt N Shell Co. is dedicated to creating handmade hermit cab tank decor - crafted with love, care and safety in mind for your little crabby friends!

I rescued my first two hermit crabs Gerry (f) and Lenny (m) back in November of 2024. I adopted Grim (m) a month later ( he is my biggest crab! ) and he is pretty big!! I then rescued Patcha (m) soon after and then Stevie (m). My most recent rescue is Jolene (f) and she is my last rescue! I went through several tanks within the first few months as I was adamant in getting them the best setup I could provide. I went from a 20gal long, to a 29 gal a week later, to a 55gal with a 25gal topper...and then decided to downgrade and do a 40gal main with a 40gal topper which will be their forever tank! I loved making tank decor so much and now that mine is full ... I didn't have any more crabs to make anything for. I decided I wanted to create homemade tank decor for others!! So I kept all of my crafts and decided to open up my very own shop just for you!
