Hej! Vi heter familjen Wright och tillsammans startade vi Scripture Type redan 2013. Vi var nygifta och etablerade vårt första hem med en önskan att införliva Skriften varhelst vi kunde i huset.

Chris, som den konstnär/designer han är, fick idén att starta ett personligt projekt med ett par mål i åtanke. Han började rita en bibelvers varje vecka för att hjälpa till med sin egen memorering av Skriften, samt för att ha denna konst att sätta upp runt om i huset som dagliga påminnelser om Guds ord för vår familj.

Efter att de första designerna var klara bestämde sig Chris för att skapa en webbplats där han kunde göra designerna tillgängliga för andra som gratis nedladdningar av bakgrundsbilder. Vi visste inte om någon någonsin skulle hitta dem, men här är vi nu nästan fem år senare med det otroliga privilegiet att skicka bibelkonst över hela världen! Vår bön var och är fortfarande att använda detta lilla familjeföretag till Hans ära och för att uppmuntra andra.

Hi there! We're the Wrights, and together we started Scripture Type all the way back in 2013. We were newly married and setting up our first home with a desire to incorporate Scripture wherever we could around the house.

Chris, being the artist / designer that he is, had the idea of starting a personal project with a couple of goals in mind. He began drawing one Bible verse each week in order to help in his own memorization of Scripture, as well as to have this art to put up around the house as daily reminders of God's Word for our family. 

After the first several designs were complete, Chris decided to create a place online where he could make the designs available to others as free wallpaper downloads. We didn't know if anyone would ever find them, but here we are now almost five years later with the incredible privilege of shipping Scripture art all over the world! Our prayer was and still is to use this small family business of ours for His glory and to encourage others.
