Michelle McCarthy è stata creativa per tutta la vita. Ha sperimentato molti medium... fino a quando non ha scoperto l'argilla! Dopo aver preso lezioni nel suo centro d'arte locale, Michelle ha iniziato una carriera part-time vendendo i suoi pezzi funzionali e decorativi alle mostre d'arte locali. Non è stato fino a quando non ha fatto alcune perline che ha trovato il suo vero amore e la carriera da sogno a tempo pieno! Le perle d'arte sono divertenti, belle, ispiratrici e, soprattutto, avvincenti!
La mia attività sta attraversando un processo di rebranding da Firefly Design Studio, a Shells Pottery. I miei genitori mi chiamavano Shell e creare lavori a tema spiaggia è il mio preferito, quindi è un nome perfetto per continuare.
La mia speranza è che ti piaccia creare con le perline e i ciondoli in ceramica che creo, oltre a indossare i miei disegni di gioielli unici. Creo anche ceramiche decorative e funzionali, sia con tecniche di costruzione a mano che di lancio di ruote.

Michelle McCarthy has been creative her whole life. She has experimented with many mediums...until she discovered clay! After taking classes at her local art center, Michelle began a part time career selling her functional and decorative pieces at local art shows. It wasn't until she made a few beads that she found her true love and full time dream career! Art beads are fun, beautiful, inspirational and most of all, addictive!
My business is going through a rebranding process from Firefly Design Studio, to Shells Pottery. My parents called me Shell, and creating beach themed work is my favorite, so it's a perfect name to continue under.
My hope is you enjoy creating with the ceramic beads and pendants I create, as well as wearing my unique jewelry designs. I also create decorative and functional pottery, both with hand building and wheel throwing techniques.
