Cameron Johnson è un artista visivo, scrittore e designer freelance con sede a Santa Fe, New Mexico. Ha studiato Lingua Francese, Poesia, Incisione e Scultura all'Università della Virginia, Fotografia e Pittura al programma all'estero del Savannah College of Art & Design a Lacoste, in Francia, e Graphic Design al Santa Fe Community College.

Cameron Johnson is a visual artist, writer and freelance designer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She studied French Language, Poetry, Printmaking and Sculpture at the University of Virginia, Photography & Painting at the Savannah College of Art & Design’s abroad program in Lacoste, France, and Graphic Design at the Santa Fe Community College.
By day, she is a freelance graphic designer, dreaming up and assembling visuals for the little entrepreneurs of the world. She is honored to do this collaborative work with her inspiring community, and gets especially jazzed by branding and book-making projects.
By night, she makes. Her collected creative work and space is named Softground Studio, and here you have landed in her shop: where all of the items she makes by hand are for sale. The shop launches with a fresh, airy collection of jewelry named "strands," inspired by the clover flower chains of her girlhood - translated into heirlooms - informed by the changing seasons and a sense of place.
Some of the materials and imagery that directly inspire this collection include vintage chain, wood and bone beads, rosaries, aspen leaves, sunshine, and the "shower curtains" of monsoon rain that fall here in the high desert of Santa Fe.
