Storied Light began with a spark—literally. One chilly evening, 10-year-old Danica was curled up at home, captivated by the soft glow of a candle. She loved how the light seemed to hug the room, how it made everything feel warmer, calmer, and more magical. She also had a dream: to save for her very first cell phone. What started as a small, personal goal quickly became something bigger—a love for creating, for giving old things new life, and for sharing warmth with others.

Danica is the heart and inspiration behind Storied Light. Every candle she pours is handmade with care, and every vessel has a story. We source authentic vintage pieces, carefully verified for their history and character, giving them a second life. Each one becomes a canvas for her creativity—a way to turn a treasured old object into something beautiful, functional, and full of light.

Her mom, a seasoned antique curator and seller behind @patrnsupply, has guided her every step of the way. Together, they select, clean, and pour candles into vessels that are ready to shine again in a new home. Each piece is yours to keep for a lifetime—to refill with a new candle, give a fresh purpose, or simply display and enjoy. To make that easy, we include instructions on how to safely remove leftover wax once a candle has burned down.

What started as a little girl’s dream has grown into a family-run shop, where care, craftsmanship, and storytelling come together in every pour. We believe that objects deserve to have lives that last, and that light—whether literal or figurative—can transform a space and a moment.
