One Happy Accident
Study Guide Girl fue creada completamente por accidente. Comencé a hacer guías de estudio para mantenerlas conmigo durante toda la duración de mi programa respiratorio puramente para sobrevivir. Me haría una "hoja de trucos" para cualquier cosa nueva que los profesores me lanzaran. Comencé esto desde el comienzo de mi primer semestre y fui un estudiante sobresaliente debido a eso. Me gradué como mejor alumno de mi clase, y todo se lo debo a la meticulosa toma de notas y a las guías de estudio que pude crear.
A medida que los estudiantes de mi clase comenzaron a expresar sus luchas con los materiales y la carga del curso, comencé a ofrecer mis guías de estudio a cualquiera que las quisiera. Parecían ayudar, lo que se convirtió en que recibí solicitudes antes de cualquier gran examen que se avecinaba en nuestro futuro.
Abrí Study Guide Girl durante mi último año del programa para ayudar a pagar las tarifas de los exámenes y los seminarios de estudio. Ya tenía las guías hechas, así que pensé por qué no darle una oportunidad. Así que aquí estamos en el primer año de ser una tienda legítima de Etsy y no podría estar más orgulloso del trabajo que he puesto en hacer material de estudio para otros estudiantes respiratorios.
Study Guide Girl was created completely by accident. I began making study guides to keep with me throughout the duration of my respiratory program purely for survival. I would make myself a 'cheat sheet' for anything new the professors tossed my way. I started this from the beginning of my first semester and was a straight-A student because of it. I graduated as valedictorian of my class- and I owe it all to meticulous notetaking and the study guides I was able to create.
As students in my class began expressing their struggles with the materials and course load, I began offering my study guides to anyone who wanted them. They seemed to help which turned into me getting requests before any big exams looming in our future.
I opened Study Guide Girl during my last year of the program to help pay for exam fees and study seminars. I already had the guides made so I thought why not give it a shot. So here we are in the first year of being a legitimate Etsy shop and I couldn't be prouder of the work I've put into making study material for fellow respiratory students!
