Le nom « Summit to sable » représente plus que l’accent de ma photographie sur les paysages et l’environnement naturel. Il représente mon amour pour les montagnes et l’océan ainsi que mes intérêts passionnés pour les sentiers qui forment des connexions à travers tous les beaux écosystèmes qui remplissent notre monde. En tant qu’océanographe et biogéochimiste, je suis fasciné par le cycle du carbone et les processus physiques et biologiques qui sont importants pour réguler le climat et la santé de notre environnement. Ma photographie reflète mon admiration pour la beauté naturelle qui nous entoure dans l’espoir d’inspirer la conservation et l’intendance de nos précieuses ressources naturelles. En tant que mari et père, je m’efforce de limiter mon empreinte carbone et de protéger les écosystèmes vulnérables pour ma fille et les générations à venir. J’espère que mes images susciteront un sentiment de joie et d’étonnement, de réflexion et de réflexion sur notre monde naturel.
The name 'Summit to sand' represents more than the focus of my photography on landscapes and the natural environment. It represents my love for the mountains and the ocean as well as My passionate interests in the pathways that form connections through all of the beautiful ecosystems that fill our world. As an oceanographer and biogeochemist I am fascinated by carbon cycle and the physical and biological processes that are important to regulating climate and the health of our environment. My photography reflects my awe for the natural beauty that surrounds us with the hope of inspiring conservation and stewardship of our precious natural resources. As a husband and father, I strive to limit my carbon footprint and protect vulnerable ecosystems for my daughter and generations to come. I hope my images invoke a sense of joy and amazement, thought and reflection on our natural world.
