Resist the oligarchy
I have been a locally active person trying to move our country and our society away from the fascist oligarchy we appear to becoming. I hope I will be proved wrong, as I write this the new administration has not been inaugurated yet, I see very hard time ahead if half of the actions the Orange Don has proposed become law or executive action.
He's promised slashing of social programs that help the poor and underprivileged, cutting regulation that protects average citizens, and slashing benefits for seniors and the disabled. All while lowering taxes on the wealthiest to nothing.
The 2026 midterm election is our last chance to repair our democratic republic.
Hopefully our democracy will be intact when he's gone. Hopefully there will be an opportunity to remove his chosen successor from power in four years.

Please vote in every election and contact your representative regularly so they know how you feel and what you think they should be doing.
