Downloaded the pattern. It was an easy pattern to follow - although a bit smaller than I anticipated (4”). It came out very pretty. Used it for a baptismal apron. I added stars around the emblem as that was what my son wanted.

Catholic-inspired Embroidery

I launched my #StitchtheSaints project on Instagram as a way to create devotional pieces that represented the Saints through colors and symbols commonly associated with them. The concept was so well received that people began asking for my patterns. In March of 2020, on the Feast of St. Joseph, I officially opened Thread Roses Embroidery as a business. As interest in Catholic-inspired embroidery continues to grow, I've added mini hand embroidery patterns for those who are looking to try new techniques without committing to large-scale projects. All of my embroidery work is based in Catholicism, from Ave Maria to a litany of Saints. As I stitch each piece I'll offer up the original artwork and, for most of them, I'll offer the pattern as a PDF download as well. If you have a special devotion to a Saint you just can't find, please feel free to message me and we'll talk. Thank you so much for your support!
