Thread Your Needles formerly The Wooly Black Sheep aka The Primitive Black Sheep
Una amiga me introdujo al mundo del gancho para alfombras en la primavera de 2018. Luego, otra amiga me dijo que me encantaría el mini punch needle. Ese fue el comienzo de The Primitive Black Sheep en París, Illinois.
Cuando abrí mi tienda de Etsy, The Primitive Black Sheep no estaba disponible. Así que me convertí en The Wooly Black Sheep en Etsy y, desde entonces, cambié mi nombre a Thread Your Needles.
La tienda ofrece servicios de enganche y punzonado de alfombras, aplicación de lana y minipunching con la herramienta Ultra Punch Needle.
Me lancé de lleno y abrí mi propio taller ese otoño. Construimos un taller de 7,35 m x 11,8 m junto a nuestra casa.
Ofrecemos instrucción en el aula, contamos con las herramientas y las bases necesarias para enganchar alfombras, perforar alfombras, perforar con mini agujas, herramientas Ultra Punch Needle, marcos de agarre, hilos Valdani, lana de bobina, lana teñida a mano, patrones y otros artículos de regalo en la tienda que incluyen joyas envueltas en alambre que hago y diseño.
Me encanta trabajar con mis manos, por lo que enseñar y ayudar a otros a aprender un arte casi olvidado es lo mejor del mundo cuando ves la expresión de sus rostros cuando han aprendido algo nuevo y pueden disfrutar de una hermosa creación para ellos mismos o para un ser querido.

A friend introduced me to the world of rug hooking in the spring of 2018. Then another friend said I would love mini punch needle. That was the start of The Primitive Black Sheep in Paris, IL.
When I first opened my Etsy shop, The Primitive Black Sheep wasn't available. So I became the The Wooly Black Sheep on Etsy and since changed my name to Thread Your Needles.
The shop offers rug hooking, rug punching, wool applique and mini punch needle using the Ultra Punch Needle tool.
I jumped in with both feet and opened my own shop that fall. We built a 24' x 36' shop next to our home.
We offer classroom instruction, carry the needed tools and foundations for rug hooking, rug punching, mini needle punch, Ultra Punch Needle tools, gripper frames, Valdani threads, off the bolt wool, hand dyed wool, patterns and other gift items in the shop that include wire wrapped jewelry I make and design.
I love working with my hands so teaching and helping others learn an almost forgotten art is the best thing in the world when you see the look on their face when they've learned something new and can enjoy a beautiful creation for themselves or a loved one.
