Wheelz nació de una historia que comenzó hace más de una década bajo el nombre de Jazz Fashion. Durante diez años, vivimos y respiramos el steampunk. Diseñamos, fabricamos, empaquetamos, viajamos y vendimos nuestras joyas por toda Europa: en mercados, ferias, festivales y exposiciones en Italia, España, Francia, Alemania, Países Bajos, Serbia y otros lugares.
No era sólo trabajo.
Fue una aventura.
Fueron risas en habitaciones de hotel, largas noches antes de los mercados, cajas llenas de engranajes y la alegría de ver a alguien enamorarse de una pieza que habíamos creado.
Entonces la vida cambió.
En 2015, a Marija le diagnosticaron esclerosis múltiple. Al principio, intentamos seguir adelante. Pero para 2019, la enfermedad había avanzado tanto que ya no podía crear joyas físicamente. Sus funciones motoras se vieron gravemente limitadas y comenzó a usar silla de ruedas. Con gran pesar, cerramos nuestro taller.
Por eso una silla de ruedas vive en nuestro logo.
No como un símbolo de pérdida, sino como un símbolo de movimiento, resiliencia y avance.
Un recordatorio de que incluso cuando el cuerpo cambia, el espíritu no se detiene.
Lo que no cerramos fue la pasión.
Se quedó con nosotros: en cajones llenos de engranajes, en bocetos, en ideas a medio terminar y en esa inconfundible atracción hacia la creación. Durante años, Wheelz vivió solo en nuestra imaginación.
Hoy volvemos a abrir esa puerta.
Wheelz es nuestro renacimiento.
Esta vez nos movemos de manera diferente.
Jos es ahora el diseñador principal y creador principal, dando vida a cada pieza a mano. Marija sigue siendo el alma creativa: diseña, fotografía, narra y cuida de cada cliente. Trabajamos más despacio. Creamos menos. Y eso es intencional.
Aquí no habrá producción en masa.
Cada pieza será rara.
Cada engranaje elegido con cuidado.
Cada creación hecha con un propósito.
Los ingresos de esta tienda nos ayudan a cubrir los gastos médicos y a seguir construyendo una vida marcada por la creatividad, no por las limitaciones. Pero, sobre todo, Wheelz existe porque creemos que incluso cuando la vida te obliga a parar, no tiene por qué arrebatarte tu identidad.
Wheelz no es sólo joyería.
Es resiliencia en latón y acero.
Es un segundo capítulo.
Es una prueba de que la pasión espera y regresa.

Wheelz was born from a story that began more than a decade ago under the name Jazz Fashion. For ten years, we lived and breathed steampunk. We designed, built, packed, traveled, and sold our jewelry across Europe—on markets, fairs, festivals, and exhibitions in Italy, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Serbia, and beyond.
It wasn’t just work.
It was adventure.
It was laughter in hotel rooms, long nights before markets, boxes full of gears, and the joy of watching someone fall in love with a piece we had created.
Then life changed.
In 2015, Marija was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At first, we tried to keep going. But by 2019, the illness had progressed to the point where she could no longer physically create jewelry. Her motor functions became severely limited, and she began using a wheelchair. With heavy hearts, we closed our workshop.
That is why a wheelchair lives in our logo.
Not as a symbol of loss—but as a symbol of movement, resilience, and forward motion.
A reminder that even when the body changes, the spirit does not stop.
What we didn’t close was the passion.
It stayed with us—in drawers full of cogs, in sketches, in half-finished ideas, and in that unmistakable pull toward creation. For years, Wheelz lived only in our imagination.
Today, we are opening that door again.
Wheelz is our rebirth.
This time, we move differently.
Jos is now the main designer and full maker, bringing each piece to life by hand. Marija remains the creative heart—designing, photographing, storytelling, and caring for every customer. We work slower. We create less. And that is intentional.
There will be no mass production here.
Every piece will be rare.
Every cog chosen with care.
Every creation made with purpose.
The income from this shop helps us cover ongoing medical expenses and continue building a life shaped by creativity rather than limitation. But above all, Wheelz exists because we believe that even when life forces you to stop, it doesn’t have to take away who you are.
Wheelz is not just jewelry.
It is resilience in brass and steel.
It is a second chapter.
It is proof that passion waits—and returns.
