I have pretty skinny fingers and on my ring finger a 7 fit perfectly. 6.5 could have worked. 7 fits great also on middle finger. But a 6.5 wouldn’t have fit my middle finger. 7 is a pretty fair choice for skinny ish fingers. If you have super skinny fingers a 6.5 could work. Maybe even a 6.
