How it all began...
En 2016, mon petit garçon atteignait un âge où il était prêt à sortir de son berceau. Nous avons commencé à chercher des options et je suis tombé sur d'adorables cadres de lit de maison sur Pinterest, mais je n'en ai trouvé aucun aux États-Unis et je n'étais pas en mesure de dépenser quelques centaines de dollars en frais d'expédition. J'ai toujours été un résolveur de problèmes et un créateur, alors je suis allé à la planche à dessin et j'ai imaginé mon propre design.
Après avoir partagé le lit sur mon compte Instagram, les gens ont commencé à poser des questions à leur sujet. J'ai immédiatement commencé à remorquer mon enfant de 2 ans jusqu'à Home Depot et je me suis rapidement mis au travail pour scier le balcon de notre appartement en plein hiver dans l'Utah, et cette petite boutique est née ! J'ai commencé en proposant uniquement une option de taille de lit de bébé et j'ai depuis lors élargi la gamme pour proposer des tailles simples et doubles !
En 2017, j'ai eu mon deuxième enfant, né avec le syndrome d'Angelman. Je devais trouver un moyen de continuer à faire fonctionner mon entreprise sans avoir à faire chaque lit à la main. Je n'avais tout simplement pas le temps. J’ai trouvé un fabricant capable de fabriquer mes lits exactement comme moi (d’accord, bien mieux !) et j’ai passé une grosse commande !
Je sais qu'il existe beaucoup plus d'options disponibles maintenant, donc je vous suis reconnaissant d'être ici et d'avoir choisi de soutenir cette boutique appartenant à maman !
Mise à jour : Au fil des années, j'ai l'impression d'avoir de moins en moins de temps à consacrer à ma petite entreprise et il est malheureusement temps de fermer boutique. C'était une décision difficile, mais il est temps. Merci à tous les clients passés ou futurs qui pourraient lire ceci. Ce fut une telle joie de contribuer à rendre la chambre de votre enfant un peu magique !

In 2016 my little boy was getting to an age where he was ready to transition out of his crib. We began looking for options and I came across adorable house bed frames on pinterest, but I couldn't find any within the US and I wasn't in a position to spend a few hundred dollars on shipping. I've always been a problem solver and a creator, so I went to the drawing board and figured out my own design.
After I shared the bed on my instagram account, people started asking about them. I immediately started towing my 2 year old to home depot and quickly got to work sawing away on our apartment balcony in the middle of winter in Utah, and this little shop was born! I began with only offering a crib size option and have expanded since then to offering twin and full sizes!
In 2017 I had my second child who was born with Angelman Syndrome. I needed to figure out a way to still keep my business going without having to hand make every bed. I just didn't have the time. I found a manufacturer who was able to make my beds exactly as I had (okay, a lot better!) and placed a large order!
I know there are many more options available now, so I am grateful to you for being here and choosing to support this momma owned shop!
Update: As the years have gone on, I feel like I have less and less time to devote to this little business baby of mine and it's sadly time to close shop. It was a hard decision, but it's time. Thank you to any past or future customers who might be reading this. It's been such a joy to be a part of making your child's room a little bit magical!
