Hand and Hide uses the highest quality materials and crafting techniques.

All of our products come with a limited lifetime warranty which covers defects in materials and craftsmanship for the life of the product.

Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear but we do offer extremely reasonable repair rates (usually just material and shipping costs)

Since leather ages with use, our warranty does not cover changes in the appearance of the leather.

Our Phone cases come wrapped in a box tied with string. Larger items such as tablet cases are wrapped in tissue paper, small items are wrapped in cloth or a box.

Normal use should keep our products soft and supple. Most of our customers do not use anything to keep their item soft. If your climate is particularly dry, or you feel the need to apply treatment, we recommend using a neutral shoe polish. This may darken the leather somewhat however.

On phone wallet cases inscriptions go centered at the top of the card slots or, if there is not space there, they go centered near the top of the bottom card slot, above our logo. On double phone cases they go on the outside of either half-case, centered near the bottom of the card slot.

No. Most of our cases are designed to perfectly hold and protect a bare phone, no additional case is necessary, and our cases are designed to be a tight fit, so there is no extra room for a second case. Screen protectors are okay.

We do offer two styles of cases that allow the use of an additional slim case on your phone. Please contact us for information.

Please send us a message outlining your custom idea. We are happy to make small adjustments to existing products when we can, but we do not normally make entirely custom items.

Our standard 14-day return policy does not apply if your item is personalized with an inscription or engraving or if you have asked us to make changes to our design of the product. If you are unhappy with such a purchase, we will still work with you to the best of our ability to ensure the product meets your needs.

Unless Etsy collects these duties at the time of purchase, you will be required to pay them once the package arrives in customs in your country. We ask our non-US customers to provide a phone number so that customs may reach you faster. Hand and Hide is not responsible for paying any of these duties. Refusing to pay them will result in the package being returned to us and we may offer refunds minus restocking fees at our discretion.
