I received this order quickly. Each piece was individually wrapped and in a box you could keep for storage. The quality is excellent. Not as weighty as other stainless sets but not flimsy, or too light. The stainless parts are gleaming, and the black handles have a matte finish. The two finishes meet at a neat, even line. I've used them twice, and received complements. The modern design really works well with the beautiful china I inherited; so much better than my stainless. It's also stunning with solid white dinnerware. I choose to hand wash as I am not sure how the black will do over time and washing these occasionally is not a problem for me. I am a bit disappointed in the dessert fork. It's pictured accurately, but in person, this piece is so narrow I felt it should have been larger. All in all, a great value.

Can't say enough about this flatware! I loved it so much, I bought 2 more as wedding presents!
