I visited a Shinto shrine before making a 5 yen charm. 5 yen coins are purified with Shinto water at temizuya (手水舎), which is a Shinto water ablution pavilion for a ceremonial purification rite, there we rinse hands and mouth before praying.
There is also another 5 yen included into the shown price, which was already dropped into a offering box at the shown shrine to pray for you.
With the another 5 yen, I prayed that ''Lots of GOEN come to the the people who will have those purified 5 yen coins''. :)

'Go e n' is Japanese pronunciation for 5 yen. That sounds the same as 'ご縁/御縁 Go e n' in Japanese which means fate, destiny, relationship, connection with someone/something.
