Who would have thought I would have a passion for pasta?? I certainly didn't until a couple of summers ago! I've been trying to find my "niche" for a few years now, and when Covid-19 hit, I felt even more determined to make something new happen. I have been running my own housekeeping business for over 25 years and have come to be burned out, and it is physically challenging to do as I'm in my mid 50's! It was a great business and taught me a LOT about how to run a business and what it takes to be successful. During covid, my housekeeping business closed. I continued on my quest to find my "niche" I took online business/ design classes with Jen & Elke Clarke to gain more exposure for my and my mom's art on various platforms like Zazzle, Redbubble, Spoonflower, and the sort. They have done well, and that experience taught me a lot about how to run an online business, things like what you need to do to help your brand be noticed, how to gain exposure on social media, posting, pinning, creating videos, and the sort. One evening when watching Master Chef with my husband and trying to brainstorm on what I wanted to do, one of their guests showed the contestants how to make pasta! That was it! I told my husband to get me a pasta attachment for my birthday for the Kitchen aid mixer I got the Christmas before. I was ecstatic and couldn't wait for it to arrive! I watched dozens of videos and did a ton of research on how to make pasta (since I had never really made any before.) I have YEARS of experience cooking in restaurants but have never had the opportunity to make pasta. It was easy! My 1st go went great, and my family gave me rave reviews! Now I have found my "niche" and have become obsessed with making pasta, creating new flavors, and doing a "modern twist" on a traditional product. I decided I would try bigger batches and see if I couldn't make a go of selling some at our Nederland Farmers Market, a little town close to where I live. I spoke to the manager and found out what was required and took the necessary steps to get certified and what was needed for doing cottage foods.
I started selling with their online market, got several sales, and got a booth for their October Festival, and I was a HIT! I saw a dozen of our old clients we used to clean for everyone who stopped by and bought a batch and gave me a huge welcome and congratulations! I've had such a great response from everyone in my community! A friend says, "I took to it like a fish to water and that her Sicilian grandmother would be impressed with my Chicken and Parsley Noodles!" I sold out that day!
I've started a local pickup and am coordinating with two commercial kitchens to start making my products to sell in our local stores. We have three small grocery stores in our area, two retail shops, and several restaurants that would sell our products, and we're attending 2 LARGE events in December to help gain exposure along with a meet and greet with our pickup/ grocer on Sat, Nov. 13th. I have dried sauce mixes I am perfecting and will be available on the market next week, along with gift baskets for the holidays. I have an Etsy site and plan to make some YouTube videos on making our Gluten-Free and Keto pasta. I have perfected the recipes and want to sell them as a dry mix. You add egg and oil. I wish to grow as a local company to provide job opportunities for people in our community. Also, to my husband! He sees my passion for pasta and wants to help my business grow and make pasta too! This business has enormous potential to grow into something that will provide my family and other families a solid income and provide our community with nutritious lovely pasta! Who can resist pasta?

5 out of 5 starsSo good! So fresh! The pasta did not fall apart like some pasta. Texture is wonderful and the width of the pasta is perfect. It is very hard to find pasta with this wide width. My family love it! I need to get more. So glad I found it here on Etsy. Thank you!
