The Story Behind Chess Muse & My Memory Madness
My husband has a passion for chess that has grown from his childhood memories of watching his grandfather play the game. These days, he participates in chess tournaments, online games and even the occasional speed chess game that is often found in parks. Part of our dating and courtship even involved playing chess games together!
Years later, after kids and a few pets we decided to launch a business that brings our love of Art and Chess together. As a team, we think of chess related concepts we'd like to showcase, sometimes adding a twist that's inspired by our kids. We bring it all together in fun visual flavors.
In addition to this Etsy store, we've also launched a chess themed memory game called My Memory Madness Chess Openings. It was created to make studying chess openings more engaging and fun. A creative new way to learn! This game has been endorsed by countless chess students and teachers alike. All artwork for the game was done by the incredibly talented Denise Teixeira, Marcelo Martinez & Peltier Design Co.
