Had to adjust my tension, normally work tight, but needs to be loose to fit over child's head, and cut a few rows short to not be too long, but pattern is great and learned a new stitch in the process

Good pattern for beginners and all! The only complaint I’d have was not having beanie sizes for younger kids but it’s easy enough to look up a free pattern. The braid instructions were awesome. I appreciate pictures for reference. My granddaughter loves it.

I have made this hat twice now and it has turned out great. Very happy with pattern.
