Japanese Art for modern life — Zen, deities, and timeless motifs, delivered as ready-to-use digital art.
Hello—I'm Yoshi from GodWorks Studio.
From an early age, I have been deeply immersed in Japanese culture. Shinto, Buddhism, and Japan’s aesthetic sensibilities have quietly lived within me for as long as I can remember.
I studied traditional Japanese painting at university, and later expanded my practice through exposure to contemporary art under artists active both in Japan and abroad. Standing between inherited faith, prayer, and reverence for nature, and a modern artistic sensibility, I create my work.
My subjects include Shinto deities, Buddhist figures, sacred beasts, the beauty of flowers and birds, and Japanese landscapes. I seek a wide range of expression—from works to be contemplated as something special, to pieces that can quietly settle into everyday life.
What I aim to create is an image that resonates with the viewer and lingers in the mind. A place to pause, even briefly, amid busy days—something that can gently help restore balance and calm.
Drawing on rich, gold-based palettes and distinctly Japanese color harmonies, I weave together traditional motifs with elements of contemporary art in search of new forms of expression. Each piece is a careful layering of color and light, refined through a lifelong dedication to the Japanese aesthetic.
I invite you to wander through this collection as you would a gallery. To help these works find a place in your sanctuary, I offer them both as high-quality framed prints, delivered to your door, and as instant digital downloads for your creative flexibility.
I hope you find a piece that speaks to you, and that these works will quietly breathe within your everyday life.
