Una búsqueda para ser creativo.
A quest to be creative.
Cuando era niña, mis dos abuelas me enseñaron a coser. Ambos habían vestido a todos sus hijos y los mantenían calientes con una gran cantidad de colchas. Estaba ansioso por aprender.
Avance rápido dos décadas. Si bien no estoy en el "nivel experto" de la fabricación de colchas, mi impulso creativo me mantiene alerta para aprender más y mejorar. Tengo un bebé propio y creo artículos de tela para que él los use y juegue. Los trapos de eructos que coso son particularmente útiles incluso hoy en día ahora que tiene casi dos años.
Quiero asegurarme de que todos los padres tengan la oportunidad de darles a sus hijos juguetes cuidadosamente elaborados, usar equipo y accesorios para bebés hechos a mano, y aún así decorar su hogar como los adultos realmente viven allí. Artículos simples hechos a mano hacen la vida más fácil. Mi búsqueda creativa es precisamente eso.
When I was a little girl, both of my grandmothers taught me to sew. Both had clothed all of their children and kept them warm with an abundance of quilts. I was eager to learn.
Fast forward two decades. While I am not at the "expert level" of quilt making, my creative drive keeps me on my toes to learn more and become better. I have a baby of my own and create fabric items for him to wear and play with. Burp rags that I sew are particularly helpful even today now that he is almost two.
I want to make sure that all parents have the opportunity to give their child carefully crafted toys, use handmade baby gear and accessories, and still decorate their home like grown-ups actually do live there. Simple handmade items make life easier. My creative quest is just that.
