Java Mama Boutique is more than an online store. Our founder, Annie, opened up this Etsty shop initially because she wanted to generate some extra spending money doing something fun and creative. Fast forward to 2023 - Our little boutique has now evolved into a great big opportunity for good. Let me explain...
Our shop partners with charities to assist in bringing awareness and raising money for their cause. We love supporting people and the causes that we believe in. So how does it work? I'm so glad you asked!
When we partner with a charity, we design products that align with its mission. Typically that's three designs, on one or more products. We also conduct interviews when possible and feature the charity in our newsletter. We share the charity's information and the products for purchase on our social media pages, and we provide links for them to do the same. The products created will raise awareness and funds for their cause, as 25% of the profits are sent each month as a donation.
This business model is so much fun for the Java Mama Team. We love creating new designs that inspire people to rise up and effect change. The best part is that we get to be involved in supporting those who are out there making a difference. We are assisting these organizations in providing access to clean water, food, shelter, and education to children in at-risk areas. We are assisting in the rehabilitation of veterans, giving to animal shelters and churches.. and guess what.. YOU are too. Our customers are the reason why we have the privilege of serving others. You are not just buying a bag, t-shirt, mug, or blanket.. you are supporting a cause - giving to those in need, providing hope, and sharing love.

Do you accept returns, or alterations after delivery?
Due to our partnership with various non-profit organizations, and the custom nature of some of our items, we do not accept returns. Please use the message option to ask questions and communicate specific requests before placing your order. We are quick to respond and will do our best to accommodate your request.
What if my package is delayed/lost in transit or stolen?
Java Mama Boutique is not liable for packages that are lost or delayed by the shipping carrier. We are also not liable for packages that are stolen, or any circumstances that are beyond our control. Once we hand your item over to the shipping company it is their responsibility to deliver the item. Please contact the shipping carrier directly regarding lost or delayed packages. If you suspect mail theft you can obtain the GPS coordinates of the last scan point from the shipping carrier and file a mail theft report with your local police department.
If a sale starts after my order is placed will you refund the difference?
The price paid is the price of the item at the time of your order. For example, if the item is in a 10% sale a week after your order, we do not go back and give a 10% refund to all customers who ordered that same product.
What are the care instructions for clothing items?
Please wash clothing items inside out in cold water. Do not bleach, do not dry clean, and do not iron directly on the design.
What are the sizing details on the clothing items, and what if if doesn't fit after I try it on?
A detailed size chart is available in all listings. It is the buyers' responsibility to select the correct size.
What if my item is returned to the sender/seller after it has shipped?
If a customer's order is returned to the sender/seller for any reason it is the customer's responsibility to pay for re-shipment.
