The table is beautiful, but the stars are really for the owners of this store. They were as good as their word at every turn. Yes, the veneer had a problem, but I was assured right away that they would pay for the repair, and the furniture restoration guy here got no argument at all when he described the problem and quoted a price. I was reimbursed within hours and am looking forward to the repair. Only thing: I kept calling one of the owners "Mirna", because the account says "Mirna Minkoff", which I thought was an exceedingly Milton Glaser sort of name, but it turns out Mirna's a Confederacy of Dunces character. Book's always been a little cute for me. I'm old and incurious now and won't look her up, will be satisfied with looking at the table. Buy from these people without fear. They're good.
