¿Cómo llegué hasta aquí? Bueno, todo comenzó cuando trabajé en la industria de la impresión y abrí mi propia empresa de impresión. Queriendo expandir mi negocio y aventurarme en un nuevo territorio, comencé a ofrecer bordados. Hice camisas y sombreros de empresa, etc. Poco sabía en ese momento, que me enamoraría del arte y se convertiría en una pasión.
Las cosas cambiaron cuando tuve hijos. Quería bordar paños de eructos, bolsos, ropa y cualquier cosa que pudiera caber en mi aro. Finalmente estaba haciendo algo creativo y aprendiendo lo divertido que podía ser realmente el bordado. Estaba emocionado y feliz. Me di cuenta de que había estado queriendo algo más.... algo diferente al bordado de negocios al que estaba acostumbrada.
A medida que me interesaba cada vez más en el bordado, decidí vender la parte de impresión de mi negocio para centrarme en el bordado y también agregué creaciones de vinilo. Trasladé mi negocio a Opry Mills Mall en Nashville, TN por el Grand Ole Opry. Oh sí, un gran movimiento!!! Fue muy lento, mucho trabajo duro, pero muy divertido y extremadamente gratificante. Así que puedes imaginar lo extremadamente devastado que estaba cuando el centro comercial se inundó en 2010 y no volvió a abrir durante 2 años. En ese momento, me di cuenta de que había mucha más gente haciendo bordados y vinilos que cuando empecé. Quería diferenciar mi negocio de otros negocios de bordado. Así que durante esos 2 años, oré para que Dios guiara mi negocio en una nueva dirección. Trabajé en la reorganización de mi negocio y me centré en hacer lo que más me gustaba del bordado. La verdadera felicidad en tu trabajo es encontrar esa paz que Dios te da cuando sigues lo que Él tiene en mente.

How did I get here? Well, it all started when I worked in the printing industry and opened my own printing company. Wanting to expand my business and venture out into new territory, I started offering embroidery. I did company shirts and hats, etc. Little did I know at the time, that I would fall in love with the art and it would become a passion.
Things changed when I had children. I wanted to embroider burp cloths, bags, clothes, and anything I could fit in my hoop. I was finally doing something creative and learning how much fun embroidery could really be. I was excited and happy. I realized I had been wanting something more.... something different from the business embroidery I was used to.
As I became more and more interested in embroidery, I decided to sell the printing portion of my business to focus on the embroidery and I also added on vinyl creations. I moved my business into Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, TN by the Grand Ole Opry. Oh yes, a big move!!! It was very time consuming, lots of hard work, but loads of fun and extremely rewarding. So you can imagine how extremely devastated I was when the mall flooded in 2010 and didn't reopen for 2 years. By this time, I realized there were so many more people doing embroidery and vinyl than when I first began. I wanted to differentiate my business from other embroidery businesses. So during those 2 years, I prayed for God to lead my business in a new direction. I worked at reorganizing my business and focus on doing what I loved most about embroidery. True happiness in your work is finding that peace God gives you when you follow what He has in mind.
