From Hobby to Business
My mom has always been one to try new hobbies with me by her side getting a taste as well. One random day in 2017, my mom ordered button making materials with the goal of putting my high school band's logo on it for parents to wear at competitions. Needless to say, the pins were a hit; we suddenly had requests for all sorts of images to be put on pins. Fast forward to 2020: I am out of work due to the pandemic; people are cut off from one another; countless group activities were cut short. I got the idea to make pins for my colorguard team with a design that reflected our show title and mailed them out to my teammates. The next thing I knew, colorguards everywhere were messaging me, wanting their own keepsake to mend the ache of a season cut short. Today, I still make plenty of show pins. I have expanded to include my own designs, create custom designs, and offer memorial pins for lost loved ones.
